Role: Business Development Leader – Water Reuse and Recycle
We are seeking an experienced, high impact, results driven leader with a strong business development mindset that combines both breadth of perspectives and depth of experience to provide sales and technical leadership grounded in market insights and industry knowledge.
Scope of work
The incumbent shall be building a business in water reuse and recycle. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in developing business opportunities and leveraging competitive advantage. The incumbent shall be required to identify the key gaps and improvement opportunities for customers to develop Solenis’s water management capability. The role will include scoping of opportunities, working with partners, specification selections, RoI calculations and managing after sales services. The incumbent shall work with the sales teams of India and South East Asia to satisfy the need to reduce water usage ratios of customers through reuse and recycle.
Location
The incumbent shall be based in India, preferably Mumbai or any metropolitan city.
The key responsibilities for the role entail
Generate new business through opportunities in water reuse or recycleApply expertise as a subject matter expert to drive Reuse/Recycle projects from opportunity identification to commercializationAssist in sales planning and presentations at the corporate and site levelHelp qualify projects from a technical viability standpointHelp scope out projects from an initial design perspectiveBe able to build cost in use calculations, benefits to customers, investment needs and return on investment calculationsAssist with proposal recommendations and contractsHelp lead the Reuse/Recycle COE and support Commercial teams to help identify target markets, corporations, sites, and applications.Collaborate with equipment partners to assure that needed equipment is designed, engineered, built, and installedProvide recommendations to leadership on strategy needed to achieve short, mid, and long term growth initiativesTravel
The role will require extensive travel like 10-12 days a month or as per business needs across India and South East Asia
