Join us in growing our marketplace business by developing and managing strategic relationships with key sellers in the Consumables category, with focus on supermarkets and drugstores. In this role, you will be responsible for hunting new strategic sellers and farming existing ones to expand our selection of everyday essentials. You will lead complex negotiations, drive business growth, and work closely with sellers to ensure their success on our marketplace platform.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end relationship management with strategic marketplace sellers in the supermarket and drugstore segments
- Develop and execute account-specific business plans to achieve growth targets and increase seller's catalog and selection
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing sellers (farming) and potential new sellers (hunting)
- Drive complex commercial negotiations and strategic partnerships to expand marketplace selection
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key sellers, addressing their needs and concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding and growth of key sellers
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including GMV growth, selection expansion, and seller satisfaction
- Implement and adapt business strategies based on insights provided by the analytics team
A day in the life
As a Business Development Manager, you will manage a portfolio of key marketplace sellers, focusing on expanding their business on Amazon. Your day involves engaging with C-level executives, conducting business reviews, negotiating terms, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve seller challenges. You will work closely with seller support, catalog, and operations teams to ensure smooth seller onboarding and business growth.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English and Portuguese
- Negotiation skills with proven track record of closing complex deals
- Experience in managing and growing strategic accounts
- Track record of achieving significant business growth targets
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or post-graduate degree
- Experience in e-commerce or marketplace business
- Previous experience working with major retail/CPG companies
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain C-level relationships
- Experience in the Consumables/FMCG category
- Understanding of marketplace dynamics and seller acquisition strategies
