Job Description
Identify business requirements and solutions related to the support of the specific business area for implementation of a packaged system software. Responsible for configuration and administration of the Packaged Software, and participating in process design, and system testing.What You'll Do
• Serve as a point of contact for the back end of an existing application area, including data definitions, usage and file structure, technical structure of the code and the business rules, and structure of requirements that govern the functionality of the system
• Support the business area and technology areas in planning and implementing Packaged Software changes
• Assist in the development of Packaged Software modification requirements and Interface Design Specifications. Configure necessary tables in Packaged Software to support the specific business area
• Establish and maintain simple Packaged Software configuration
• With direction, perform all necessary discovery and fact finding to fully understand and execute routine assignments. Participate in the identification of best practices, communicate and implement these practices within the department.
• Effectively communicate development and production issues to the project team, business owner, and/or the manager in a timely manner
• Create reports and visualizations for business users and management
• Assist in code development, maintenance, and designing solutions that support business needs
• Generate sample data sets for Unit Testing to validate that the code is developed to perform as intended
Hiring Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
• 0-2 years of experience in related field
• In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field
Bonus Points
• Experience with large databases and relational database languages (Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience with visualization tools, particularly PowerBI
