Business Analyst with Digital and UAT Experience
**Remote but occasional in-person meetings in the Albany, NY office. ( Resource will be required to attend in-person meetings occasionally in the Albany office)** 40 hours/week 2 years (with opportunity for extension) **Contractor is required to work as Experis w/2 employee** . **Hourly rate 50.00 per hour with Experis benefits** The position is not open to Corp To Corp- No sub vendors aloud. **Contractor must have a computer, web-cam for video conference, cell phone, and access to reliable high-speed internet** From Our client: This position requires a Business Analysis to work with Strategic Operations Team helps with business transformation activities, digital learning team (maintains knowledge base and creates trainings). Currently going through primary enterprise transformation (NEIS) - BA will be working with stakeholders on this project, designing/improving business processes, assisting with UAT for the implementation of a new ERP system, etc. This resource will not be authoring technical specifications, rather digesting them and translating them so stakeholders and that the teams can understand. Top Skills: + Ability to create visual aids and artifacts to translate use cases to effectively explain them to stakeholders. + Experience supporting ERP, contract lifecycle management, or financial management system implementation project. + Experience with internal and external stakeholder management and communicating with users. + Skilled in using tools to track projects (e.g., Asana) and keep stakeholders informed on status. + Active listening, ability to understand and define outcomes from meetings, effective note taking. + Ability to document business needs and requirements/specifications. + Experience with UI/UX, evaluating screens, etc. to accomplish business tasks and evaluate whether it is streamlining/improving process. + Required to have : Asana, MS Visio, Salesforce, Confluence, Office 365, Teams, Webex, SharePoint, NEIS + This Business Analyst role will be supporting the Strategic Operations Team by working with stakeholders on the NEIS Transformation Project designing, implementing, and improving business processes as well as accomplishing other relevant tasks, such as assisting with testing and UAT, to help with the implementation of a new system. Nice to have: + Experience with configuration-based systems which is moving from highly customized system to a more configuration-based system. + Experience working with Salesforce. **Initiative:** NEIS Transformation and Replacement Project **Qualifications and Responsibilities:** + 5+ years of experience in a Business Analysis role. + Experience in ERP implementation and organizational change management a plus. + Understanding and experience with Microsoft Visio highly desired. + Experience in documenting requirements and specifications and creating visual aids representing business processes using standard methods. + Experience with project management methods processes, standards, and tools. + Ability to elicit functional needs from business users and translate those needs to existing functionality in a configurable system application. + Ability to monitor on-going project workstreams with close supervision. + Ability to manage project work status in Asana, or ability to learn new system quickly. + Note-taking and deriving action items and key outcomes from meetings. + Ability to coordinate UAT (user acceptance testing) and participate in product evaluation on from time to time. + Skilled in managing multiple diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments, and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgement. + Active listening skills and the ability to understand and define and document meeting outcomes and business needs effectively. + Demonstrated the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Basic understanding of Salesforce, SharePoint 0365 is a plus. + Bachelor degree required; concentrated in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or related field highly preferred. + Collaborate with business leads and other business analysts to develop and transform requirements into systems design and implementation. + Collect, document, map, and analyze business process and system dependencies. + Gather, synthesize, and document business requirements. + Effectively communicate status, collaborate, and problem-solve with relevant organizational stakeholders and contracted system implementation team. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify recommendations for process improvements. + Quality assurance and defining testing strategies and risks. + Contribute to the testing of system integrations and configurations. + Coordinate user acceptance testing with system vendor and internal staff. + Track task and milestone completion. + Document and monitor project risk. + Schedule and coordinate meetings between system vendors and internal teams. + Note-taking and notes consolidation. + Assist in the development of training resources to support implementations and reengineered processes. + Assist with organizational change management related communications and initiatives. + Other duties as assigned that contribute to the key outcomes of the Strategic Operations team. .
