Business Analyst - Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in the Regulatory External Data Services team, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Area Product Owner to assess impact, plan and prioritize work required for upcoming projects impacting regulatory reporting. You will be a key point of contact to gather information and communicate across technology teams, testing teams, and key reporting stakeholders. You will be responsible for implementation activities including documentation of clear and complete requirements, test planning, and implementation planning. You will also be responsible for consolidating release documentation to present for stakeholder review and approval. In this role, you will work collaboratively with both internal team members and partners from Home Lending Business, Technology, MIS and Risk and your strong organizational skills, analytical skills and interpersonal skills are essential to drive progress and keep teams on track.

 

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficienciesSupport the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitors adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirementsRaise blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resourcesDrive progress on requirements readiness based on impact / issue severityPrepare scope and release documentation for communication to stakeholdersRelease planning and tracking of key milestones for delivery Manage the end to end change control process in JIRA Conduct thorough data analysis as neededOrganize and lead meetings with stakeholders, providing clear agendas, documentation, and follow-up actions to ensure progress and accountability

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related area4+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaStrong Excel & PowerPoint skillsExperience executing operational management and change readiness activitiesExperience in product deployment processes Ability to lead and manage projects independentlyFlexibility to adapt to changeStrong business analytics backgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skillsStrong organizational skills, analytical skills and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Developed knowledge of the product development life cycleExperience in Financial Services Industry/Regulatory ReportingSelf-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsTechnical proficiency and JIRA platform experience
