Business Analyst (Part-time)
Our client, a leading organization in the public service sector, is seeking a Business Analyst/Consultant III to join their team. As a Business Analyst/Consultant III, you will be part of the Bureau of Working Families supporting various programs aimed at assisting low-income individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Business Analyst **Location:** Madison, WI (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) **Note:** Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required. Part time (25 hours per week) can be flexible with 5 hours per day or 3 full days per week, etc. **What's the Job?** + Analyze IT business systems and gather requirements to implement necessary changes. + Lead User Acceptance Testing, including scenario creation and defect tracking. + Facilitate workgroup meetings for system projects and document outcomes. + Write technical documents such as operational memos, user guides, and manuals. + Manage comprehensive information technology projects for various programs. **What's Needed?** + 8 years of experience in analyzing IT business systems and requirements gathering. + 8 years of experience leading user acceptance testing and defect identification. + 8 years of experience acting as a liaison between business areas and IT developers. + Experience with State of Wisconsin Systems such as CARES Worker Web (CWW) is preferred. + Ability to work during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours.
