Business Analyst (DOM Occupational Health) - #Staff
We are seeking a **_Business Analyst_** who will be responsible for key business analysis and deliverables and will prioritize competing demands to meet required deadlines. The Business Analyst will produce high-quality written reports and present complex information to colleagues and university leadership. As a member of a team, they will identify and execute opportunities for improved efficiencies, enhanced student/staff/faculty experiences, and strengthened associated compliance requirements. **Specific Duties & Responsibilities** + Use various methodologies (e.g., Business Process Management (BPM), Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) to approach typical and complex situations and adapt to changing circumstances and new requirements. + Conduct stakeholder interviews related to data analysis, data interpretation, and process design to identify, recommend, and solve business problems. + Construct and/or lead data analysis by ensuring efficient data collection, instructing analytical choices, conducting research and summarizing conclusions and recommendations to produce high-quality deliverables. + Coordinate activities to complete assigned work efficiently, which includes delegating and using appropriate project and divisional resources. + Collaborate closely with program managers and functional leads and other team members to develop deliverables, briefings, presentation and workshop materials, infographics, analyses, etc. + Establish knowledge of financial, business, and technological practices across the university to effectively support projects. + Assess change readiness among stakeholders identifying and helping mitigate implementation barriers and risks as needed. + Independently lead stakeholder interviews and/or design sessions by running well organized meetings. + Quickly establish credibility for the project by proactively building strategic working relationships. + Appropriately seek stakeholder input and cooperation while ensuring project goals are met. + Effectively obtain stakeholder feedback and appropriately respond to their concerns. + Other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in a related field. + Three years of related experience + Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. **Preferred Qualifications** **Technical Skills & Expected Level of Proficiency** + Data Management and Analysis - Developing + Business Process Analysis - Developing + Report Writing - Developing + Presentations: Developing + Project Management - Developing + Stakeholder Engagement - Developing + Change Management - Developing _The core technical skills listed are most essential; additional technical skills may be required based on specific division or department needs._ Classified Title: Business Analyst Role/Level/Range: ATP/04/PD Starting Salary Range: $32.25 - $56.46 HRLY ($19,760 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
