We are currently seeking a Business Analyst - Corporate Banking & Payments - Hybrid / Partially Client Onsite to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Business Analyst – Corporate Banking & Payments
Day to Day job Duties:
Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify requirements, and provide functional guidanceConduct requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and walkthroughs with business users and operations teamsTranslate client requirements into well-defined user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteriaMaintain, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, ensuring readiness for upcoming sprintsParticipate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesAct as the primary point of contact for functional queries from development, testing, and client teamsReview solution designs and ensure alignment with payments, cash management, and corporate banking workflowsCollaborate with technology teams to validate upstream and downstream system integrationsSupport UAT activities, including test scenario definition, defect triage, and coordination with client usersAnalyze payment flows across SEPA, CHAPS, CHIPS, FEDWIRE, ACH, and SWIFT, ensuring accuracy and complianceWork closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure alignment with Fraud, AML, KYC, and Sanctions requirementsProvide regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders on scope, progress, and risksIdentify gaps, dependencies, and risks early and work with teams to drive resolutionContinuously build and maintain strong product and domain knowledge to advise clients on best practicesSupport post-implementation activities, including production issue analysis and root cause support
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst in Corporate Banking or Transaction Banking5+ years of experience in requirements elicitation and analysis, including client workshops and stakeholder interviews6+ years of hands-on experience working in Payment’s domain, supporting EMEA and North America payment schemes5+ years of experience with Payment’s processing and messaging, including: SEPA, CHAPS, CHIPS, FEDWIRE, ACHSWIFT (MT/MX) and ISO 200224+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban), including backlog management and sprint ceremonies3+ years of experience collaborating with technology teams on system integrations, including upstream and downstream interfaces2+ years of experience in a client-facing role, managing business stakeholders and cross-functional teamsStrong experience using Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent
Travel: This position requires 2 days in-office at the client Charlotte, NC office.
Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience

Experience working on Payments Transformation or Modernization programsExposure to ISO 20022 migration or coexistence initiativesPrior experience supporting tier-1 or global banks in Corporate or Transaction BankingKnowledge of SWIFT connectivity models (Alliance Access, Alliance Lite2, SCORE, MA-CUG)Experience with API-based integrations, microservices, or event-driven architecturesFamiliarity with real-time and instant payment schemesExposure to regulatory or compliance-driven initiatives within bankingExperience supporting cloud-based banking platforms or SaaS solutionsCertifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, CBAP, or PMI-PBAPrior experience working in onsite–offshore delivery modelsStrong documentation skills using tools such as Confluence or similar knowledge platforms
