The Opportunity:

The Business Analyst will support the agile development, adoption, and continuous improvement of an integrated STMD Performance Management Ecosystem, including a mission-aligned dashboard capability.

The role will also provide similar business analysis and product support for:

Adoption and configuration of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool

Design and implementation of an STMD Digital Front Door for internal and external stakeholders.

The position will work closely with STMD leadership, product owners, development teams, and mission stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable requirements and prioritized backlogs. In defined circumstances, the Business Analyst will serve as a back-up Product Owner, ensuring continuity of delivery and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

Maintaining and refining user stories and epics to ensure readiness for development

Supporting prioritization decisions based on mission value, risk, and dependencies

Representing stakeholder interests when the Product Owner is unavailable

Ensuring continuity of product vision, scope, and delivery cadence

Qualifications:

Required:

Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in agile software development environments

Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile delivery practices

Experience translating strategic goals into measurable outcomes and requirements

Experience supporting dashboards, analytics, or performance management tools

Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong facilitation, documentation, and communication skills

Desired:

Experience supporting Product Owners or serving in a Product Owner proxy role

Familiarity with CRM platforms and adoption efforts

Experience with digital service design or front-door style capabilities

Prior experience supporting federal or large enterprise organizations

Familiarity with data governance, data integration, or analytics concepts

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
