We are the EMEA GSO Analytics & Insights team, reporting into EMEA Go-to-market, Strategy & Operations. Our mandate is to enable a rapid shift towards a data-driven decision-making culture across the sales organization, by delivering digital insights and analytics at scale and embedding them in people’s everyday activities.

We partner with all teams, including Sales, Strategy & Planning, Operations, Customer Experience, Partner Organisation, Engineering, and Finance, and leverage internal and external data sources to build a view of the health, strengths, and gaps in our business, allowing our business leaders to drive consistent and effective decision making at scale.

Your role will require excellent analytical thinking and skills, business case development and decision support for critical projects meant to enable our strategic priorities execution, unlock untapped opportunities, and accelerate sales growth.

More specifically, you will:

develop analytical insights using SQL/Python/Tableau/PowerBIprovide our sales leadership with relevant actionable insights that can accelerate sales growth and/or business transformationleverage and understand Macro indicators to combine it with internal metrics to better support planning and investmentsguide sales/non-sales users on how to best leverage analytics in their run-the-business activities, with compelling data story-telling and clear recommendationsalign with other analytics teams globally to exchange best-practices and join forces to tackle common challengeslead projects inside or outside the team cross-functionallymaintain existing machine learning models using Python.

Analytical–you will create novel analytics solutions, thinking out-of-the-box and using state-of-the-art visualization techniques.

Technical– you will design and implement Business Intelligence tools using Python, SQL, Tableau and Power BI You may also participate in the design and implementation of advanced/predictive data models that will enable faster decision making and execution across the sales organization.

Business-driven– you will work closely with various teams across sales and business functions, to understand their challenges and goals, scope their requirements, and make sure our analytics solutions are relevant and actionable.

 
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience manipulating large and complex datasets with SQL to extract relevant insights for the business and build meaningful relevant stories out of raw data in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI or even Excel)You are able to understand business strategy, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform analytical approaches.You can clearly understand and scope business requirements, and translate them successfully into analytics solutionsYou can tackle complex challenges in a simple, rationale, and structured way, prioritising tasks under tight deadlinesYour verbal and written communication skills allow you to clearly address both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

You can process large datasets in SAP HANA, Google Cloud Platform, Python, SnowFlake, and Tableau.You can navigate existing solutions whilst adding your own touch and innovation, going “beyond the brief”You are familiar/have experience with advanced statistical techniques and concepts (e.g. regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.)You are familiar / have experience with machine learning techniques (supervised and unsupervised learning, artificial neural networks) and their implementationsYou are an enthusiastic team player with a positive “can-do” attitude, and can successfully work cross-functionally to achieve outstanding outcomesYou demonstrate learning agility and a proactive approach to acquiring new skills and adapting to changing business needsYou are proactive and never wait for a challenge, you seek them
