**Title: Business Analyst** **Location: Fully Remote Domestic US Sourcing, any time zone.** **Duration: 12 months** **Chance for Extension (Y/N): Highly likely to extend for full 18-month contract.** **Daily Schedule & OT estimate: M-F 40 hrs/week, NO OT** **Pay Rate Range:** **$26.27 - $28.96** **About the Role** Mojang Studios is looking for a Financial and Business Analyst to support the Minecraft Business Team, focusing on pricing strategy and financial analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fun, high-impact environment and contribute directly to the success and continued growth of the Minecraft franchise. **Purpose of the Team** The Mojang Studio continues to develop and expand the Minecraft franchise. This role supports that mission by ensuring data-driven pricing strategies, accurate financial reporting, and impactful insights. **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain pricing structures across Console, Mobile, and PC platforms. + Analyze foreign exchange rate movements and their effect on revenue. + Manage the implementation of pricing strategy changes across SKUs. + Conduct price test impact analyses and recommend adjustments. + Prepare geographic financial and unit performance reports. + Audit and optimize current pricing structures for profitability. + Improve documentation and business processes. + Provide ad hoc reporting support to the Business Operations team. **Candidate Requirements** **Qualifications** + 3+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing, or financial operations. + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. + Strong proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables), SQL, or other data tools. + Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and pricing strategy. + High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Familiarity with foreign exchange impacts and multi-geo revenue reporting. + Passion for gaming is a plus. **Disqualifiers** + Candidates with a data science-only background or overly technical focus are not a good fit. + Candidates must have strong business/finance backgrounds and presentation skills. **Top 3 Hard Skills Required** 1.
