Role Overview As a Business Analyst in our dynamic, fast-paced environment, you'll work as an extension of the Product Team to:
• Drive data-based, actionable customer insights
• Solve complex business challenges
• Become a subject matter expert in assessing business performance across Amazon Pay
• Analyze trends and present findings clearly and concisely
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Experience with data pipelining and extraction
• Knowledge of data mining tools (SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar)
Key job responsibilities
• Work backwards from business requirements to create effective data models
• Perform complex data analysis and root cause deep dives
• Partner with business teams to understand the Amazon Pay ecosystem and Key Performance Indicators
• Develop new measurement methodologies
• Leverage AI tools to drive operational efficiency
• Provide actionable insights for product improvement
• Optimize processes and identify growth opportunities

The Amazon Pay Wallet team (SVA) operates one of India's leading digital payment solutions, authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to issue Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI). As a regulated entity, we're at the forefront of India's digital payment revolution, enabling millions of customers to embrace digital transactions seamlessly.
Our Wallet allows customers to add money via UPI, cards, netbanking, and cash, which can be seamlessly used on Amazon, popular apps (like Zomato, Uber), for UPI payments on QR codes, or bank transfers.

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
- 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
- Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or any related quantitative field
