**Bus Mechanic**
As a Bus Mechanic, you will be working on buses, focusing on diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems, conducting minor engine work including transmissions, performing brake and oil changes, servicing AC units, and handling both interior and exterior body work. You will utilize hand tools and power drills to fix buses, conduct visual inspections before and after work, and ensure completion of up to 10 job orders daily.
**Shift:** 1st shift, Monday - Friday.
**Description**
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems.
+ Perform minor engine work including transmissions.
+ Conduct brake and oil changes.
+ Service AC units.
+ Handle body work, both inside and outside.
+ Utilize hand tools and power drills for repairs.
+ Complete visual inspections on all buses before and after work.
+ Work independently and efficiently complete up to 10 job orders daily.
+ Document completed work and any pending tasks.
+ 2-5 years of experience working on buses or trucks.
+ Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Skilled in performing visual inspections.
+ Experience in electrical systems diagnosis (multiplex system).
+ Strong computer and documentation skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working specifically on buses.
+ Experience with Chevy or Ford.
+ Technical schooling.
+ Welding experience.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
