**Job Title: Burn Table Operator ($24 - $25 starting pay rate)** Job Description Burn table operators are responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving the setup and operation of cutting machines such as Oxyfuel or plasma cutters. You will be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and strong teamwork skills are essential. This is a 2nd shift role from 2pm - 10:30pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities + Work from verbal instructions, drawings, blueprints, sketches, bills of material, and cutting lists. + Set up, adjust, and operate Multi-Torch, hand torch, Plasma flame cut, and Oxygen-Acetylene flame cutting equipment. + Grind and/or de-burr materials as required. + Obtain oxygen and acetylene cylinders from stock as needed. + Select raw materials to be cut and use drawings to determine cutting methods. + Position materials using an overhead crane. + Perform simple cleaning maintenance operations. + Scribe from patterns and perform simple layout tasks. + Report abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision. + Observe all safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. + Read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints. + Operate a metal band saw to cut steel for parts, if required. Essential Skills + Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail. + Proficiency with Oxyfuel or plasma cutting machines. + Experience in operating cranes and forklifts. + Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints. + Skill in using a tape measure. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with burn table operation. + Knowledge in CNC setup and operation. + Familiarity with HMI interface changes and fabrication processes. Why Work Here?
