Job Description:
The Building Systems and Engineering Specialist is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of plant floor equipment by troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting devices as needed. The role involves addressing equipment breakdowns and ensuring their timely resolution while providing guidance to Maintenance Mechanics on completing required repairs to resolve breakdown situations. Additionally, the position assists in solving daily challenges inherent in maintaining conveyors and the physical facility in good working order.
Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentWork Location: 12424 Dixie Road, Caledon, ON L7C 2L8, CanadaWorkdays: Monday through Friday (5 days a week)Shift Start: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM / 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM* (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs) *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responds to internal customers.
Responds to facility alarms and emergencies.
Assist in troubleshooting problems that arise.
Aide in the procurement of parts and materials for the facility
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering
Preferred programming experience, including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation, including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting
Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams
