**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
•Perform preventive and routine building maintenance and repair tasks
•Conduct routine maintenance inspections of site safety equipment and diagnose potential problems
•Assist with the room set-up and take downs for various events
•Escort vendors/Contractors through the facility
•Minor repairs of architectural items, cabinets, doors, windows and plumbing systems
•Installation of shelving, tank holders, signage and various items across the facility
•Review assigned work orders and use CMMS and available systems to track and document completion
•Work in controlled manufacturing environments
•Assist trades personnel with maintenance tasks, corrective, and preventive
•Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
•Contribute to a strong site safety culture by completing JHAs and following all site safety protocols
•Complete other various duties as assigned
•Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders,
+ and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
