Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facility’s infrastructure, with a primary focus on plumbing systems. This role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading plumbing fixtures and systems, while also supporting general building maintenance tasks such as electrical, HVAC, and structural upkeep.

ResponsibilitiesLead plumbing maintenance efforts, including installation, repair, and replacement of pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems.Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and water pressure problems.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing and other building systems.Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems as needed.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Collaborate with contractors and vendors as necessary.Essential Skills5 or more years of experience in a building maintenance position.Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, and repair techniques.Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and general facility systems.Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.Ability to work independently as well as communicate with other team members.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
