Building Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Lead Technician** Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality work and teamwork? Join us as a Lead Technician, where your skills in painting, drywall repair, and light carpentry will help prepare homes for new residents and keep our community running smoothly. You’ll be based at a mix use complex in Guilderland, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team of 3–5 technicians who take pride in doing things right. **Responsibilities** + Tackle a variety of repair tasks including painting, patching, and light carpentry. + Get units move-in ready by fixing up interiors before new leases begin. + Support and guide fellow technicians—sharing your knowledge and helping the team grow. + Handle basic maintenance like replacing lightbulbs, locks, and appliances. + Coordinate with outside contractors and ensure they have what they need to get the job done. + Pitch in with janitorial duties like trash removal and general upkeep. **Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in painting, carpentry, or general contracting. + A valid state-issued license. + A solid track record in appliance repair, light fixtures, or remodeling work. + A proactive attitude and a willingness to lead by example. **Why Work With Us?** + Bonuses for meeting apartment turnover goals. + Company vehicle for use during work hours. + Extra pay for on-call and overtime shifts. + Gas allowance, company phone, and weekly uniform laundry. + Boots and outerwear provided—we’ve got you covered. + 401K match, Birthday PTO, and training opportunities to grow your skills in electrical, HVAC, and more **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
