As a CBRE Mobile Building Maintenance Technician, you will perform reactive repairs and preventative maintenance to several buildings in your general area for one of CBRE's local Healthcare clients. (Hospital and clinics) **This role is typically M-F 7:00 -3:30 (1/2-hour lunch) with on-call every Nine Weeks from Friday to Friday and during the on-call week the hours are 8:00-5:00 with an hour lunch.** **What you’ll do** + Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and light repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry along with other basic building repairs. We all pitch in and help out her. (Including HVAC preventative maintenance, Cleaning, electrical plumbing etc.) + Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. + Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner. + Complete all work in proper alignment with building codes and safety laws. + Communicate straightforward information in a clear manner. + Professionally respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors. + Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having the opportunity to exercise discretion. + Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2+ years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered. + It is highly preferred that you an HVAC license (Universal 608) May alternately consider certification/ license in Plumbing or Electrical + Required to maintain a Valid Driver’s License. (In good standing) + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + The willingness to pull together as a team and do what is needed. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information in a clear manner. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. + Basic math skills. The minimum salary for the Facilities Coordinator position is $35,500 annually [or $17.07 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Coordinator position is $65,500 annually [or $31.50 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
