Building Maintenance III
**Job Title: Building Maintenance III** Job Description This position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields such as carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and general cleaning. Additionally, this role involves clerical duties which could include managing assets, creating spreadsheets, and developing Word document forms and work instructions. Responsibilities + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment. + Monitor the building automation system from either local or remote locations. + Participate in on-call support functions to provide 24/7 support for GMP manufacturing. + Accurately record information on all required logbooks, forms, and work order systems as assigned. + Coordinate scheduled maintenance and repairs of equipment and facility with outside contractors and vendors. + Respond to alarms for critical equipment. + Inspect and maintain all building and support equipment in good running order. + Order supplies and materials for maintenance, manage stockrooms, and oversee placement of stock and fabrication projects. + Assist with equipment repairs as needed. + Perform assigned housekeeping chores and ensure cleanliness and organization of all maintenance areas. + Install equipment as assigned. + Perform other duties as required. Essential Skills + High School Diploma or equivalent with a Two-year Technical degree or equivalent experience. + Advanced general tool and mechanical skills and knowledge. + 2-3 years of maintenance technician experience. + Intermediate experience with air compressors, compressed air dryers, refrigeration, HVAC, and chillers. + Intermediate experience with painting, carpentry, and small-scale construction. + Basic experience in sourcing and purchasing industrial supplies. + Basic knowledge of working closely with contractors and vendors. + Basic experience in managing parts inventory for all equipment. + Basic experience in a fast-paced GMP production environment under high-quality standards. + Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and on-call as required. + Experience in a team environment and ability to work independently and self-motivated. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + PC and clerical skills required, including Microsoft Office. + Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Candidate must have 2+ years of experience. + Must be proficient in at least one of the mentioned areas of maintenance. + Must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs and standing all day. Work Environment The work schedule is the 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm, following a cycle of 10 days on (Mon-Wed), 4 days off (Thur-Sun), 5 days on (Mon-Fri), 2 days off (Sat-Sun), and then the 10-day stretch starts again. The team works every 3rd weekend. The work setting is a climate-controlled, professional environment for the most part. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Berkeley, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.21/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
