As a Building Engineer, you’ll help ensure seamless daily operations for a major high-rise facility, maintaining mechanical systems that support thousands of tenants.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Core Mechanical & HVAC WorkMaintain and repair chillers, VAVs, air handlers, and motorsTroubleshoot and service boilers, pumps, cooling towers, and HVAC systemsSupport seasonal operations such as small engine maintenance in winter and high-volume pump work in warmer monthsElectrical & Critical SystemsService utility generators, UPS systems, and related infrastructurePerform lockout/tagout, preventive checks, and critical facility operationsGeneral Facilities UpkeepPerform plumbing, lighting, and commercial kitchen equipment repairsConduct chemical treatment/testing, filter changes, and belt replacementsAssist with project work and light painting as neededWhat We’re Looking For

You're a strong fit if you bring:

Required Experience5+ years in Building or Facilities Maintenance2+ years hands-on troubleshooting with HVAC, boilers, air handlers, chillers, and pumpsPreferred SkillsStrong capabilities in plumbing, mechanical repair, and work order managementKnowledge of commercial building systems and best practicesGreat customer service instincts — you’ll interact with tenants, managers, and leadershipWork Environment & Schedule1st shift, Monday–Friday (typically 6:00 AM–2:30 PM)Flexible start/end times and mid-shift training during onboardingAfter conversion: join a rotating on-call schedule with a well-balanced team of 5Badge and building access provided during your first week

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
