Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Building Engineer to support multiple facilities in the Denver area. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of building systems. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in at least one core trade—Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing/Piping, or Central Utility Plant Operations—and strong competency across others.

This is a mobile role requiring travel between sites to ensure all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire/Life Safety, and Control systems.Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper function and system reliability.Oversee facility services including preventive maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and contractor management.Clean, inspect, calibrate, and replace components to maintain HVAC and related equipment at optimal performance.Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper operation.Follow all policies related to safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Conduct periodic checks of tools and instrument inventory.Monitor quality and pricing of work performed by outside contractors.Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.5–7 years of experience in maintenance and repair of commercial building systems.Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues in Commercial/Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.EPA 608 Type II Certification.Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Excel).Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

EPA 608 Universal Certification.Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license.Two years of trade schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, or HVAC.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
