Broker Support – Insurance (Mergers & Acquisitions) Aon is looking for candidates with general insurance or Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) experience who have a passion for broker, client service and stakeholder management with an interest in developing their insurance career. This role will suit someone who is proactive and can work independently in a fast-moving team. We are seeking a Service Executive to join our global Aon Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) practice that specialises in the provision of Insurance and Risk Advisory Services and Transaction Solutions to the M&A community including Law Firms, Private Equity, Fund Managers, Investment Banks, Big 4 firms, Large Private and ASX listed businesses and Global businesses. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home and from our Aon office with 3 business days in the office and 2 days to work from home. What the day will look like Your day will be busy with a focus on client servicing which will be the key to your success. Responsibilities: Working directly alongside the Head of Transaction Solutions, Client Directors, Associate Directors, Senior Associates and Associates and providing administration support where necessary on transactions. Preparation of PPT decks and RFPs for internal and external stakeholders. Assisting with research and data analytics and collection. Supporting with thought leadership and sales and marketing activities. Organising and managing deal trackers, insurer submissions, policies, agreements and reports as part of the insurer marketing and underwriting process. Directly managing Client/Insurer queries and being a subject matter expert on administrative matters. Administration of document storage and exchange. Managing invoicing and complex premium calculations. Skills and experience that will lead to success To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about a career in insurance and M&A and have strong administration and customer service skills. Our ideal candidate will have the following: Relevant experience working within the commercial insurance or M&A sector as a junior underwriter, analyst, associate, broker or similar Comparable client account management, underwriting, business, legal or broking experience Commitment to exceptional client service Exceptional relationship and communication skills Desire to develop skills and knowledge set through ongoing training Tier 1 qualifications would be desirable Business, Commerce or law degree would be desirable but not essential Advanced Microsoft skills would be desirable as role will involve working with PPT and excel regularly Strong organisational and time management skills and can work on multiple ongoing priorities This is an excellent development opportunity for a polished and credible professional to enhance their corporate skills and build on capabilities in a diverse and challenging role.
