Broker Facilities Manager

Permanent - Hybrid, Full-Time
We are recruiting a Broker Facilities Manager to lead our centralised Facilities Management Function. You will provide strategic oversight, governance and performance management of our centrally administered broker facilities, ensuring you deliver profitable growth and align with our commercial objectives.
The successful applicant will lead on management of core panel facilities, driving revenue growth and fostering key broker relationships. The role will be focused on contestable panel facilities where QBE retains underwriting control.

Your New Role
In this role, you will establish best‑practice frameworks for governance, performance oversight and commercial optimisation of QBE’s centrally administered facilities portfolio. As a data‑driven leader, you will deliver high‑quality insights to enable enabling better trading behaviours and more informed decision‑making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the evaluation, acceptance and commercial structuring of new and renewal facility opportunities, ensuring alignment with QBE’s strategy and growth objectivesLead broker engagement, attending regular meetings to drive facility performance and surface actionable insights for distribution and underwriting teamsManage and develop the Facilities Management Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaborationDeliver high-quality data and management information (MI) to Market Management and Underwriting teams, supporting data-driven decision-makingOversee the standardisation of facility structures, coverage and contractual terms across broker partnersDrive commercial discipline by managing payments, commissions and expense planning, ensuring profitability and complianceOptimise the facility portfolio by identifying growth opportunities and proactively managing underperforming facilitiesDevelop a “response library” to improve efficiency and consistency of responding to facility tendersEnsure effective operational maintenance of facilities, including oversight of legal, compliance and payment processesAbout you
Proven experience in facilities management, insurance distribution or a related commercial environment – ACII accreditation is preferable, not essentialStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insightsExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with brokers and internal partnersDemonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects to successful outcomesKnowledge of insurance market dynamics, facility structures, and commercial frameworksHigh level of commercial acumen and understanding of financial performance metricsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbout QBE
