Reporting to the Manager, Broadcast IT, you will provide administration for the QVC US broadcast IT infrastructure and support end-users. You will provide root cause analysis of escalated and complex problems related to broadcast IT systems and impart technical expertise of established IT standards for the team.Where You'll Work
This role is onsite and will require you to work from our West Chester, PA location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.This role is included in an on-call rotation schedule.What You'll Do
Provide 2nd tier technical support for the QVC US broadcast IT systems, including after-hours supportBe accountable for equipment specifications, system design, and installationOversee project integrations and ensure all tasks are completedTest all broadcast IT infrastructure's hardware and softwareLead setup and configuration of broadcast IT systemsBe a subject matter expert for broadcast IT disaster recovery implementation, and testingWhat You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study. Equivalent work experience in a related field may be consideredIT certification recommended (CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMWare)4+ years of experience working in a broadcasting IT multi-tiered environmentExperience with Broadcast Television systems administration required, including experience with SMPTE-2110Proficiency with AutoCAD or other broadcast line drawing software requiredInstalling, monitoring and troubleshooting computer servers and applications is preferredExperience in Windows Admin, Network Admin, DB Admin and server technologies preferredOur Total Rewards package includes benefits you’ll love such as competitive compensation, paid time off, an employee assistance program, parental leave, paid volunteer hours, and amazing company discounts!
