**Job Title: Bridgeport Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Bridgeport Operator to join our dynamic 1st shift team. This position offers hours from 7am to 3:30pm, with the opportunity for overtime as needed. You will work in a fast-paced, job shop environment with the opportunity to learn and train in various areas. **Responsibilities** + Run and set up the Bridgeport, including drilling and tapping, following blueprints and work instructions. + Perform quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measures to ensure precision. + Adapt and transform materials as needed, demonstrating a strong understanding of the forming environment. + Exhibit a fast learning ability and a strong drive to succeed. + Participate in cross-training for the Laser department and assist in final projects, including learning to operate brake press or forming machines. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 months Bridgeport experience or 1 year of manual machining. + Proficient in reading blueprints. + Skilled in quality inspection using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in forming is advantageous. + Quick learning ability and adaptability. + Experience in mechanical and industrial fabrication. + Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in machine setup and manual machining. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that values its employees and offers almost 100% paid premiums for Blue Care Network, dental benefits, a 401K match up to 4% after a year of service, 5 days of PTO after 90 days, paid holidays, and life insurance.
