**Job Title: Brazing Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Brazing Technician who can accurately interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions. The ideal candidate will efficiently assemble chillers and heat exchangers per drawings, schematics, and technical data. **Responsibilities** + Interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and specifications. + Efficiently assemble chillers and heat exchangers according to technical data. + Troubleshoot design and assembly issues and collaborate with engineering for solutions. + Perform copper brazing on industrial equipment. + Maintain paint inventory and material usage logs. + Position and align components for assembly. + Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies. **Essential Skills** + Ability to accurately read a tape measure. + Proficiency in interpreting schematics and blueprints. + Minimum of 2 years experience in brazing/soldering copper efficiently without leaks. + Minimum of 2 years experience in bending pipe. + Troubleshooting assembly issues. + Basic knowledge of refrigeration. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with mechanical assembly and metal bending. + Familiarity with hand tools, HVAC, and production environments. + General labor skills and soldering assembly expertise. **Why Work Here?** Join a medium-sized company that values its employees and offers a generous benefits package, including 16 days of vacation. After a probationary period of 6 months, you will transition to a union environment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.68 - $23.54/hr.
