**Job Title: Brazer** **Job Description** The Brazer is responsible for assembling flare tube extensions, return bends, and various copper hookup components into coils. You will use a brazing rod with an oxygen-acetylene torch to join these components. This role involves preparing coils for brazing, using various types of rods, and setting up your own work. Reading blueprints and performing simple arithmetic are also required. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and braze headers and manifold components. + Braise sub-assemblies using various rods. + Braze return bends, headers, and subassemblies to coils using coil prints. + Monitor inventory levels of headers and manifold sub-assemblies. **Essential Skills** + Brazing experience with BCUP 5 and Stay-Silv Brazing Flux. + Mechanical skills including the use of hand tools and power tools. + Ability to read blueprints and perform simple arithmetic. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in brazing 180 & 360 degrees with a braze torch. + Ability to braze brass fittings to copper. + Proficiency in using various hand tools. **Why Work Here?** This employer offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, 401(k), health, dental, vision, and life insurance. The job requires standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stooping as necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
