About Marken:

Marken is a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS and is a critical part of UPS Healthcare. Marken offers a state-of-the-art GMP-compliant depot network and logistic hubs for clinical drug product storage and distribution worldwide, and supports cell and gene therapy logistics services from clinical to commercial, while maintaining the leading position for Direct-to-Patient and Home Healthcare services, biological sample shipments and biological kit production.

Role Overview

As our Branch Supervisor, you will take charge of the Christchurch branch's daily operations, ensuring strict compliance with GDP standards and deploying innovative distribution strategies. Lead our team, nurture vital client connections, and champion continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Christchurch branch operations, promoting GDP compliance and best practices.Engage with the New Zealand senior team to enhance business practices and foster a positive work culture.Strive for operational excellence by meeting and exceeding quality standards.Uphold company policies and ISO standards for a safe work environment.Utilize the Maestro system to align with Marken's processes and meet KPIs.Identify risks and develop cost-efficient solutions.Deliver exceptional service and achieve strategic goals.Build strong relationships with major clients, ensuring high service standards.Inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence and collaboration.Oversee financial management and maintain cost controls.Execute client-specific requirements and manage imports, exports, and domestic shipments.Coordinate logistics with airlines for smooth operations.Manage Dry Ice orders and monitor branch inventory for efficiency.

Skills and Experience:

At least 5 years' experience in a similar roleProven leadership skills with a flair for problem-solving.Strong understanding of GDP standards and proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Maestro).
