Job Summary
Managing all branch operations whilst closely monitoring expenses to ensure profitable results in the branch administration. Managing the growth of all existing and pipeline opportunities within the Netherlands. Client management and focus by monitoring branch KPI data to ensure efficiency and goal attainment. Leading in the development of process improvement within the branch, region and wider Marken network by rolling out and running all relevant initiatives to designated staff. Coordinating vendor selection within the region whilst engaging negotiation management in order to drive cost improvements. Preparing and analyzing, collating data from each relevant department, all relevant financial branch reports including, but not limited to, budget, forecasting, P&L and expense reports.
Responsibilities:
Directs the operation, administration, training, and marketing activities of the Amsterdam Branch ensuring coordination between and the successful management of all relevant departments.
Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining direct reports; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
Defines branch level business strategies and communicating them to all Amsterdam staff, whilst managing the execution to ensure financial, commercial, and operational success.
Ensures a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible facility, within operations and staff conditions according to legislation.
Works with VP & Regional Manager to assure teams are in place to manage corresponding workloads.
Establish regular staff meetings to build an environment in which employees willingly produce maximum work with a high level of effectiveness.
Assure that the Direct to/from Patient and Logistical facilities are up to date with all required permits, requirements, and local regulations.
Overseeing staff performance through measured processes such as individual appraisals at regular intervals whilst controlling all hiring and termination activities.
Ensures that optimal capacity and capability exist to meet client and Marken network requirements.
Assures the delivery of exceptional service to both external and internal clients.
Ensures the Branch is performing in full compliance with regulatory, client and company requirements.
Manages third parties (local agents, airlines, suppliers, etc.) to ensure compliance and expectations.
Contributes to corporate initiatives and incorporating network best practices.
Develop and implements strategic plans in cooperation with the Global Marken leadership teams.
Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, marketing, field and services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
With VP of EMEA, creates branch sales strategies and managing their execution, in line with the Business Development team, to maximize revenues and drive business growth within Netherlands.
Assures client expectations are met and exceeded.
Satisfies and builds loyalty with external and internal clients.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
Security Manager for the facility of Amsterdam. Responsible for adherence of to the requirements set out in Marken policies.
Owner of the Profit & Loss for Amsterdam branch.
