International manufacturing and electric company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associate's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or other related field of study
1+ year in data entry, customer service, or any other work history
Experience with Microsoft Suite applications including Excel
Description:
Accounts Receivable Management:
Generate and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.Process incoming payments and accurately record transactions.Collections & Customer Relations:
Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment discrepancies.Implement and maintain effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts.Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues.Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable as needed.Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
