**Job Title: Brake Press Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Brake Press Operator, where you will be responsible for operating a Cincinnati Brake Press machine to create custom industrial enclosures. You will receive training on setting up and adjusting the machine, and work with work orders and blueprints to press sheet metal for enclosure panels. This position requires eagerness to learn and attention to detail. **Responsibilities** + Operate the Cincinnati Brake Press machine to create custom industrial enclosures. + Set up and adjust the machine according to provided training. + Work off work orders and blueprints to press sheet metal for panels. + Ensure quality by double-checking and measuring work accurately. **Essential Skills** + 6 months or more of machine operating experience. + Ability to read and interpret standard tape measures and blueprints. + Experience with press brake, production, and fabrication. + Mechanically inclined with skills in assembly and sheet metal work. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attitude, aptitude, and attendance are highly valued. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a family-owned company where you can grow your skills in a tight-knit team. The environment is dynamic with welding cells, sparks, and metal sounds. Operators work primarily on their own and at their own pace, with quality being a top priority. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with optional overtime available. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
