Our client, a leader in contract manufacturing of high-quality medical implants and components, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Brake Press Operator
**Location:** Anoka, MN
**Pay Range:** $20 - $36/hour
**Position Type:** Direct Hire (Full-Time)
**Shift:** Monday through Thursday; 4:30PM - 2:30AM
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate and perform setup of all types of sheet metal machines (primarily Brake Press) to bend, cut, or form parts.
+ Utilize a variety of sheet metal hand tools and measuring instruments.
+ Perform shop mathematics at an intermediate level.
+ Read and understand blueprints at an intermediate level.
+ Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ 1+ years of experience in brake press setup.
+ Preferred: Medical Device Manufacturing experience
+ Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions and standard operating procedures.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to take direction from the area manager.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
