**Job Title: Box Truck Driver** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated box truck driver to load trucks, drive to delivery locations using GPS, confirm orders, and unload products. The role involves interacting with customers and operating a 28-foot box truck. **Responsibilities** + Load deliveries into the truck, ensuring items are boxed and palletized. + Drive to designated delivery locations utilizing GPS for navigation. + Confirm customer orders upon arrival at delivery sites. + Unload products safely with the use of pallet jacks and lift gates. + Maintain excellent customer service during interactions. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in loading and unloading trucks. + Experience in driving box trucks. + Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift. + Strong customer service skills. + Capability to perform general labor tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication. + Physical ability to lift items weighing 25 pounds or more. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy good advancement opportunities with potential for increased earnings within a few years. The atmosphere is informal and laid-back, with an emphasis on keeping the mood light as long as tasks are completed. All trucks are equipped with lift gates to simplify deliveries. Working hours start at 7am, with end times varying depending on workload, typically concluding between 2pm and 5pm. In inclement winter weather, drivers are allowed to work indoors, assisting with packaging and organizing products. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grimes, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
