**Job Title: Box Truck Driver** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Box Truck Driver who will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products to our customers. The role requires early arrival at the assigned time, typically between 5 and 9 am depending on the route, reporting to the dispatcher, inspecting the truck, loading and securing the load, and delivering products to customer locations. **Responsibilities** + Arrive daily at the assigned time (Between 5 and 9am depending on route). + Report to the dispatcher for route, truck assignment, and any pick-up paperwork. + Inspect your truck inside and out using a smartphone. + Load and secure the truck. + Depart for route and deliver/unload products at customer locations. + Verify all customer orders at the time of delivery with the receiver. + Note any discrepancies on both copies of the invoice and ensure they are signed by both driver and receiver. + Ensure customer invoices are signed by the person receiving the order unless the order comments indicate otherwise. + Contact the office if no one is available to sign the invoice for delivery instructions. + Complete routes that typically take approximately 4-8 hours. + Return at the end of the route and turn in paperwork. + Unload backhaul products and/or customer returns. + Park the truck, lock up, and conclude the day. **Essential Skills** + Active DOT license. + At least 5 years of truck driving experience. + Experience with electric or manual pallet jack. + Capability of delivering 12-14 pallets a day or around 12 stops. + Experience delivering to schools and convenience stores. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Clean driving record with at least 3 years licensed driving experience. + Positive 'can do' attitude and enjoyment of being out and about. + Friendly and professional attitude towards team members and customers. + Ability to work flexible schedules. + Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds. + Ability to operate a manual or electric pallet jack with product up to 100 pounds. + Ability to get in and out of a 26” Box Truck. + Capability to work in all weather conditions year-round. **Work Environment** This position operates primarily Monday through Friday from 6am to 2pm. The work involves loading and unloading trucks and may require lifting heavy items. The role demands working in various weather conditions throughout the year.
