Job Description

This position involves performing general warehouse and delivery duties to ensure the timely receipt and delivery of products. The role involves serving as a backup driver for a program designed to ensure product availability to clients, even outside of the normal delivery schedule.

ResponsibilitiesLocate and transfer products for daily sales orders, ensuring the physical product matches the sales order description.Prepare products for shipping in accordance with company standards.Load and unload vehicles, occasionally using or removing items from rolling carts.Move products within the facility or assist in packing carts for loading.Assist warehouse associates with other duties as assigned.Drive a company-provided vehicle between locations to deliver company-owned products while adhering to all traffic regulations.Essential SkillsDrivingMaterials handlingLoading and unloading trucksAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required)6 months of warehouse experience (preferred)1 year of delivery driving experience (preferred)Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to understand warehouse locations and locate productsAttention to detailAbility to quickly identify errors and correct themAbility to thrive under deadline-based assignmentsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for long periodsAbility to walk up to 2 miles during the workdayAbility to perform repetitive motions for extended periodsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The position involves working in a warehouse and driving company vehicles. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional overtime opportunities on Saturday mornings for 4 to 6-hour shifts. The dress code is casual, with closed-toed shoes required. Employees are provided with a half-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.

This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
