**Job Title: Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team on the 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for performing full machine set-ups, making offsets and adjustments, reading G/M coding and blueprints, changing out tooling, and working with large, delicate pieces. You will conduct first part inspections, manage different metal materials such as castings and steel, create true positions, run metrology checks, and wash completed parts in preparation for packing. Additionally, you will use an overhead crane to move the casings. **Responsibilities** + Perform full machine set-ups for CNC milling. + Make offsets and adjustments as required. + Read and interpret G/M coding and blueprints accurately. + Conduct tooling changes and adjustments, averaging two setups per day. + Manage large and delicate pieces with precision. + Conduct first part inspections and ensure quality standards are met. + Utilize overhead cranes to move casings safely. + Work with various metal materials, primarily castings and steel. + Create true positions and run metrology checks on parts. + Wash completed parts for final packing. **Essential Skills** + 3-5+ years of experience in 3-axis CNC mill operations. + Proficiency in setting up machines and changing out tooling. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and G & M code. + Capability to hold tolerances of +/- .005. + Experience using precision measuring tools such as mics, calipers, bore gauges, and gauge pins. + Job shop machining experience with multiple setups and change-outs per day. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Horizontal Boring Mill experience. + Experience handling delicate or large pieces. + Kizer/Kuraki Boring Mill experience. + Overhead crane and hoist experience. + Programming knowledge in G & M code. + Ownership of personal precision measuring tools, showing career investment. + Military background is a plus. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
