Bookkeeper
Description Position Overview Growing property management company seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong Accounts Payable experience and proficiency in large ERP systems (Yardi or comparable). This role will support high-volume transactional processing across multiple properties and entities while maintaining accuracy and internal controls. This position is ideal for someone with real estate or property management accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (Primary Focus) + Process high-volume vendor invoices across multiple properties + Code invoices accurately to property-level GL accounts + Manage vendor onboarding and W-9 collection + Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies + Maintain AP aging and ensure timely payments General Bookkeeping + Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations + Assist with month-end close activities + Post journal entries as needed + Support accrual tracking and prepaid expense schedules + Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Property Accounting Support + Assist with CAM reconciliations (if applicable) + Track property-level expenses and allocations + Support tenant-related billing coordination (as needed) Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) + 3+ years of bookkeeping or property accounting experience + Strong Accounts Payable background (high-volume processing required) + Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, AppFolio, or comparable large ERP system + Multi-entity / multi-property accounting experience preferred + Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Experience + Property management or commercial real estate industry experience + Experience working in a multi-entity environment + Familiarity with trust accounts or property operating accounts Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
