Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records for their organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling accounts, processing invoices and payments, and preparing financial reports. The Bookkeeper will work closely with management to ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide timely financial insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Record financial transactions in QuickBooks
Reconcile bank statements and accounts
Process accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and issue invoices
Maintain general ledgers and journals
Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets
Ensure compliance with relevant financial and tax regulations
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
