Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping systems and a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. • Process payments and manage invoices in a timely and organized manner. • Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and compliance. • Coordinate with vendors and oversee vendor management tasks to maintain smooth operations. • Prepare and distribute 1099 forms in accordance with regulatory requirements. • Execute wire transfers and manage transactions across multiple currencies. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently and accurately. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management. • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations with accuracy. • Familiarity with handling multi-currency transactions. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
