Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing financial records with precision. You will play an essential part in maintaining accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping processes while collaborating closely with the team onsite. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and ensuring general ledger accuracy. • Maintain accountability for credit card tracking and reconciliation across designated accounts. • Ensure all company books and records are current and compliant with internal standards. • Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently. • Utilize QuickBooks to record financial data and generate reports. • Conduct regular reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Collaborate with team members to streamline bookkeeping practices and improve workflows. • Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. • Uphold confidentiality and security of financial information at all times. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial records. • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Skill in performing accurate bank reconciliations. • Ability to prepare journal entries and manage general ledger accounts. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members. • Willingness to work 100% onsite and adhere to flexible working hours.
