A growing business is seeking a dedicated bookkeeper to manage and oversee financial operations effectively.
ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices, payments, and receipts.Handle weekly payroll for employees.Ensure records match bank statements and correct any discrepancies.Document daily financial transactions and update the general ledger.Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant laws.Enter financial data accurately and maintain organized records.Greet guests or clients when they arrive at the office.Perform other administrative duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Strong bookkeeping skills.Experience with invoicing and data entry.Knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes.Experience with invoice processing and handling accounts payable/receivable.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience as a bookkeeper is preferred.Experience with QuickBooks.Experience working with companies of similar revenue size.Familiarity with processing Purchase Orders.If not a bookkeeper, experience in A/P, A/R, General Ledger, Reconciliation, and Tax is required.Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in the office from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
