Bookkeeper
Job Title: Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies. You will process accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports using QuickBooks. Additionally, you will assist with payroll processing, expense tracking, and provide general administrative support.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the AEC industry.Familiarity with government contracting requirements.Office management skills.Phone support and administrative skills.Data entry and general ledger experience.Project budgeting experience.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The company offers an opportunity to convert to a long-term position and grow within an organization focused on sustainability. The work environment includes exciting projects, such as partnerships with TopGolf Golf.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
