Payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing\nEnter payroll and reconcile with payroll vendor\nAccounts receivable collections, communication with customers requesting payment\nEnter accounts payable invoices and communication with vendors\n\nEnter accounts receivable billings and change orders\nReconcile cash balances each week\nReview cash requirements each to ensure prompt payment of invoices\nPrepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual tax returns\nPrepare monthly/yearly financial statement reconciliations\nManage all company credit cards\nResponsible for entering job setup and reconciling, change orders, subcontractor setup, etc.\n\nMaintaining accurate and up-to-date project status schedules\nGenerating weekly project status reports\nProviding support for permitting, research, and client relations\nInvestigating and creating project information documents for project bidding and costs\nEntering time and material data into Spectrum software for accurate client billing and report generation\nEntering job setup and reconciling, change orders, subcontractor setup, etc.\n\nWork directly with outsourced IT company to help coordinate IT updates and maintenance\nAbility to work on miscellaneous projects such as website maintenance, workflow streamlining and automation\nMaintain and order office supplies\nOther tasks that may be assigned

High school diploma or equivalent\nPrefer 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping work experience\nA plus if you have an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting\nA plus if you have prior experience with project management\nExperience working with accounting software (Quickbooks Online Advanced)\nA plus if you have worked in an Architectural Engineering Construction (AEC) position\n\nProblem-solving and critical-thinking skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nSelf-motivation, punctuality, positive attitude, team and goal-oriented\nFamiliar with the construction industry and job cost reporting\nFamiliar with basic bookkeeping and accounting\nPreferred knowledge in payroll and payroll tax reporting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
