Booking Coordinator
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages Booking calendars, including adding, editing and/or removing events and events holds, and responds to building availability requests in a timely mannerCreate lease agreements and contracts as determined necessary and in the best interests of the facilitiesEstablishes and maintains relationships with key touring industry professionals, including agents, managers, promoters, and producersIn collaboration with facility departments, research and prepare data that supports the booking efforts for specific artists, shows and eventsObtain information from various agencies on talent availability for eventsGenerate new business through cold calling and leads generated by attending networking meetings and eventsCompiling and maintaining all events shows folders with contracts, Certificates of Insurance, and general event correspondenceDevelop and maintain a productive working relationship with all facility departmentsAggressively promotes the use of the facility to maximize its utilizationAssist and collaborate with the Director of Booking to work with agents, managers, promoters, and producers to book concerts, non-concert events, family shows, and other venue content to maintain calendar fulfillmentLive event coverage as neededShow/merch settlementAssist the Director of Booking on all Community Arts Partner bookings inclusive of, but not limited to all above responsibilities associated with the community eventsWilling to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Education and/or ExperienceMinimum one year industry-related experience; B.A./B.S. preferredArts Administration experience beneficialKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communications skills, oral and writtenBasic computer skills required, including experience with Excel and Microsoft WordStrong organizational and time management skills, as well as flexibility and the ability to prioritizeresponsibilities in a fast-paced environment are essentialMust be detail orientedComputer SkillsOperate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office softwareOperate standard office equipment including copier and fax machineExperience with Adobe InDesign preferred

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary in the range of $55,000–$60,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
