Position Details Position Title: Boiler Operator - General Maintenance Position Type: Staff Location: Moorhead Employment Type: Hourly Non-Exempt General Employment Period: May 1 – April 30 General Work Schedule (days of week): April – October 7:00am – 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday November – March, rotating 8 hour boiler operator shift work General shift hours: 7:00am – 3:30 pm – 7 months Rotating shift work 5 months Job Summary: The primary responsibility in the winter months shall be to operate the boilers in a manner that provides a constant reliable volume of steam to meet campus needs. The primary responsibilities during the summer months shall be to perform general maintenance duties in order to maintain our campus buildings.
