We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team. This role involves ensuring efficient boiler operation, maintaining documentation, and delivering excellent customer service while visiting various sites on campus. The position requires experience in logging readings, inspecting worksites for potential issues, and interacting with clients.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain high-pressure boilers efficiently.Log readings accurately in a log book.Inspect worksites for any potential problems and report findings.Provide exceptional customer service while visiting different sites on campus.Maintain and document boiler operations and temperature controls.Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently.Essential SkillsExperience in boiler operation and documentation.Proficiency in temperature controls and gauge monitoring.Customer service skills and ability to interact professionally on campus.Possession of a High-Pressure Red Seal Boiler License.1-2 years of experience in a similar role.Additional Skills & QualificationsBlack Seal certification is advantageous.Experience in high-pressure environments is preferred.Strong documentation writing skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is based in a multi-city university environment that operates continuously. Employees in the facility department are deemed essential to keep the university open. The work involves interacting with various site locations on campus, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
