**Job Title: Boiler Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Boiler Operator/Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The role involves operating, maintaining, and repairing boiler systems to ensure the safe and efficient production of steam or hot water. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. **Responsibilities** + Operation: Adjust controls, monitor gauges and meters, and ensure proper fuel, water, and chemical levels. + Maintenance: Perform routine checks, clean, lubricate, and replace parts like valves and filters. + Repair: Diagnose and fix malfunctions, such as leaks, faulty valves, or pressure irregularities. + Monitoring: Observe and record boiler performance, including temperature, pressure, and fuel consumption. + Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety checks. + Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and performance data. + Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during operation. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical maintenance and repair skills. + Experience in boiler operation and maintenance. + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues. + Familiarity with plant equipment and power plant operation. + Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical repair. + Strong facility maintenance skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanically inclined with boiler experience. + Ability to work independently and in a team setting. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic start-up manufacturer and grow with us from the ground up. The job requires shifts from Monday to Friday during the day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stuart, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $48.07/hr.
