**Job Title: Board Assembly Technician**
**Job Description**
This position involves assembling and soldering printed-circuit boards with precision and expertise.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive, pull, and audit Hand Adds Kits for parts preparation.
+ Utilize tools such as pliers, cutters, crimpers, calipers, and Olamef trimmers for part preparation.
+ Cut wires according to specifications and identify components accurately.
+ Create documentation for the Prep department.
+ Mask and stuff boards according to documentation using appropriate materials.
+ Position and align parts accurately in specified relationships using fixtures or holding devices.
+ Measure components of builds according to specifications.
+ Verify that traveler information matches the product being produced.
+ Route boards to Quality Control and Wave Stations.
+ Obtain and read documentation using Pro-tracker for board assembly.
+ Follow production drawings and sample assemblies.
+ Respond to Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Deviations, and Travelers.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of SMT and Through-Hole Radial and Axial Leaded soldering techniques.
+ Apply and understand the use of solder and flux materials, ensuring proper disposal.
+ Operate and maintain soldering and unsoldering equipment.
+ Perform basic rework using hand pumps.
+ Exhibit lead and lead-free soldering skills.
+ Use basic mechanical tools such as screwdrivers and wire crimpers.
+ Operate MSD equipment and PCB baking machines.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in assembly and soldering techniques.
+ Experience with PCB assembly, including SMT and through-hole soldering.
+ Ability to read blueprints or schematics.
+ High School diploma or GED.
+ At least 2 years of experience in PCB assembly.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong listening skills and a good sense of humor.
+ Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
+ Enthusiasm for sharing ideas to improve efficiency.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
