Purpose of job
We are seeking an accomplished Building Management System (BMS) Manager to lead and mentor a BMS support team. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with a robust background in BMS, coupled with good leadership prowess and business acumen. The successful candidate will maintain, enhance, and optimize our global services while instilling a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.


Key job responsibilities
• Contribute and own the Global BMS Support Centers long-term strategies, setting a vision, roles and responsibilities and clear goals for the team.
• Recruit, build, inspire and motivate the team working towards common goals.
• Collaborate closely with WWRE, D&C, Sustainability, RME and other stakeholders to comprehend customer requirements, business objectives, and operational needs.
• Mentors and supports BMS Specialist teams with their advanced expertise, leading technical resolution for complex faults or integration challenges across fieldbus and IP-based systems, while establishing best practices for unified platform management and standardized data visualization.
• Ensure team compliance with the BMS Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and processes which are scalable across the globe.
• Ensure team compliance with the change management process.
• Ensure the team complete Global Landing Page Audits for new buildings as they are launched.
• Leverage BMS data insights to proactively identify opportunities for optimization, energy efficiency, and cost savings.
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring a wholistic and customer-centric approach.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on BMS trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Manage labor needs, and resources to ensure successful delivery of existing BMS services.
• Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
